FAQ
I. How do I clean and shine my latex?
You can clean any latex garment with mild soap and water or a latex-specific cleanser. Latex-specific powder, dressing aid oil, or simple baby powder can be used inside the garment to help with dressing. These can also be used to dust the outside of the garment to prevent the rubber from sticking to itself.
Always handwash your latex and gently pat dry. Never use an iron or a washer/dryer — they will damage the garment.
To shine the garment, use an unscented silicone-based lube or a latex-specific shiner.
Household oils and water-based lubes can create divots in the latex surface and should be avoided.
II. How do I store my latex safely?
For larger garments, store them in a garment bag without a window if possible. Latex is sun-sensitive, and when left unattended in direct sunlight it can “bake” — similar to an old rubber band that turns white and brittle over time.
To maintain the longevity of smaller pieces, consider placing them in a small bag in a drawer. When you’re not wearing the garment, having a small amount of powder or shiner on the interior and exterior allows for an easier second wear and extends the life of the piece.
III. Can my latex be repaired?
Typically, yes. In most cases if the garment has a tear, it’s repairable. With the exception of chlorinated latex, many garments can be repaired quite seamlessly or with minimal visible evidence of repair.
For more questions about repairs, please email our customer service team.
IV. Is custom available?
Yes. Custom patterning, small production runs, and custom color options are available for an additional cost.
For more details, email our customer service team with the subject line “Custom”.
V. What’s the return and exchange policy?

Please allow 2–3 weeks to produce your order. Everything is made to order, by hand, in Los Angeles.
